Today we’d like to introduce you to Mica Ramey.
Mica, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
After attending the University of Oklahoma I moved to Dallas. My ten-year career started off in the mortgage servicing industry with JP Morgan Chase, where I negotiated contracts and gained a plethora of knowledge as it pertained to real estate. I always had a love for looking at beautiful houses, but it wasn’t until my personal experience selling my townhome, that I knew this was the career move for me. My experience with realtor Darien Hall of Diamond D Real Estate was so phenomenal, that I chose to hang my license at his brokerage. I was introduced to his assistant at the time Jeanette McCullough who is now my counter partner of Your Dallas Home Girls. We were accountability partners that blossomed into business partners. We have developed a team where we host seminars throughout the year to help educate the path to become a homeowner. We are so excited and all about helping and encouraging our clients about everything in real estate.
Has it been a smooth road?
After four years of the hustle things finally started to transition. I have learned so much having to juggle being a single Mom and a full-time Realtor. Both are a FULL-TIME commitment. The beauty of it all is to experience the struggle, the failures, the clients that walk after showing a ton of houses, the missed opportunities. Life has its way of humbling you. I am just so thankful that I didn’t give up. I have learned through patience, consistency, and prayer anything is possible. The best is yet to come!

I am one half of Your Dallas Homes Girls Team. We specialize in buyers and sellers in the DFW metroplex. We aim high to deliver exceptional service to exceed client expectations. We hold ourselves to the highest professional standards and are dedicated to helping our clients with comprehensive information and expert advice. We guide our clients through the real estate experience.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see the industry continuing to blossom. New businesses are continuing to move to Texas, which is a great thing. The more companies relocate to the DFW area, the more business opportunities for us.
