Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalia Issa.
Natalia, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I always dreamed of being an artist! As a child I wanted to be a painter. After finishing undergrad and a graduate degree in management I realized how far I was from what I was born to do. Makeup found me and I fell in love with it! I love people and serving women! My profession is so relational and so fulfilling! Its art, its love and it is a timeless legacy.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Although, I am a very diverse hair and makeup artist. For me one of the most challenging aspects of my career and my business has been to find my strengths and operate in them. I strive to stay authentic and consistent with my vision and with my goals.
I have found that the bridal beauty business is my passion and serving my brides makes me extremely happy. I have done other types of makeup within the industry and I find the most joy on celebrating others and on catering to a bride that is confident in my abilities.
Natalia Issa Hair & Makeup Artistry – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Natalia Issa Hair & Makeup started about seven years ago, I specialize on bridal beauty and editorial bridal beauty. My work has been published on every major wedding blog and magazine including Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty, OnceWed, Magnolia Rouge, The Bridal Theory, Southern Weddings Magazine and many more! I am known for ethereal and romantic looks, my signature look is glowing skin and radiance from within. I love enhancing beauty and making the ordinary look extraordinary. I love simplicity and I love highlighting the strength and femininity of a woman.
What sets me apart from other artist is my timeliness, reliability and my passion for making others happy. I love for my clients to feel that I love every second of our time together and that I gave my absolute best.
As a company I have an excellent reputation and others in my industry trust in my vision and my taste as an artist.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment of my career is to be the go to Hair and Makeup artist of the biggest names in the bridal industry. I travel the world building the portfolios for the best and the most relevant wedding and lifestyle photographers in the world right now. And that makes me slime so big!
