Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Patton.

Nick, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
When I finally turned the age of 18 and was able to get my own bank account, I proudly walked into my local bank to open a checking account. To my surprise I walked out with a job as a teller as well! 19 years in the making, a small town Rockwall boy turned from video store clerk to a top producing branch manager at Supreme Lending. I credit my success to important people who recognized my talent and potential along the way. Mix in a ton of hours honing my craft and putting all others before myself, and I carved out a niche of very satisfied and diehard clients and business partners!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Any journey worth taking is riddled with struggles and opportunities along the way. I have had the chance to level out in my sales capacity many years ago. Running myself ragged was getting me nowhere so I decided to venture out and open a branch of my company giving me the latitude to make business based decisions and grow beyond my current capacity. I have successfully more than doubled my staff from 3 to 7 in only a years’ time! With much risk comes much reward. My clients are truly enjoying the improved level of service and overall experience!

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about The Patton Group at Supreme Lending – what should we know?
Supreme Lending is a direct mortgage lender that specializes in residential financing. We offer loans to those needing to buy or refinance their primary residence, a vacation home or rental property. We specialize in many boutique loan products that are geared towards certain professions and 1st time homebuyers. Supreme Lending is one of the Top 20 places to work in DFW!

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Allen is such a safe and family centric environment. As a father, it was very important to choose the right town to raise a family and grow a business. Allen made me a believer! The recent struggles of accommodating all the new growth has been a bit painful, but necessary.
