Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikki Scott.
Nikki, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started wearing makeup in high school Mary Kay to be exact. My aunt was a sales rep and I purchased from her so that I could have makeup to play in and wear to school. I always loved makeup but my passion grew when I went to college and began competing in pageants, a lot of contestants loved my makeup and I began servicing clients after I won the title of Miss Black Tulsa County 2009. Fast forward 10 years later, I began servicing celebrity clients and they helped me develop #BeatGangLashes. From natural to dramatic lashes that can be worn up to 30x with us without glasses my clients and supporters love them.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road hasn’t been easy. #Beatganglashes are custom created so when you are wearing our lashes know that you are the only one with that specific lash style. Doing this can be hard when you are in high demand and you have a lash design team and not lashes you can pick randomly and sell. This is what makes us unique and different from the other lash brands out there.
BeatGangLashes – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
#BeatGangLashes is an exquisite online lash brand that offers lashes that can be worn up to 30 times with proper care. I am the owner of #BeatGangLashes I create, design, and run a small lash team that provides outstanding service and great lashes. I specialize in gaining new clientele and keeping our vibe live across the web I am known for being a go-getter and true hustler in the beauty community. I am most proud of landing my amazing lash brand inside of Boss Beauty Makeup Academy locations. Collaborating with other boss babes is an amazing feeling when you both have the same goal in mind.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Creating a brand from scratch. No one in my family owns their own business and I am the first to step and take risk to achieve my dreams.
