Today we’d like to introduce you to Paul Adams.

Paul, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
How we started and what we thought we wanted to be is not who we are today. Our customers have shaped who we have become. There are so many diverse needs and requests of the customer base we have evolved to become a niche rather white glove concierge transportation provider for kids over 8, those with special needs, seniors and when we are not moving passengers we are moving your products and services through our courier business Bubbl Dash. Don’t get me wrong we drive just about anybody but I like the fact that we are doing something that few do and that’s making children mobile when their parents can’t make it happen, the special needs population as well has become more independent and less reliant on family members and the seniors are simply mobile once again.

Two years ago, we had a vision to go into business off the mistakes that traditional ride share company’s like Uber and Lyft were making.

We saw an opportunity to shift the pendulum from “legalized hitchhiking” to wrapping your kid in a bubble that was safe and secure.

Social media has highlighted the mistakes being made by these independent contractor drivers and that has propelled the Bubbl business forward. 20,000 rides later and over three thousand registered customers we are poised for tremendous growth. By employing active and retired police officers only we have increased the level of comfort for our rider community ten fold and there is no telling how many cities we can bring our model to.

We are a family owned business so we know the community values safety. The business just seemed like a perfect fit for us.

Has it been a smooth road?
Texas may be primarily flat but the journey we have been on has had its fair share of undulation. Just when you think you know what the customer needs or wants we get thrown a curve ball. With 70 officers on the streets driving our cars and great office staff doing what they do best we find a way everyday to give great service. One of the biggest challenges, when we started, was deciding whether or not to release our customer facing app. We held back and said in order to do this right and beat the biggest obstacle, capacity, we felt that the app should stay on the shelf. We have taken baby steps by adding a few drivers, a few cars and a few customers. When we did that right we again added a bit more. We stay close to the customer and we stay close to our drivers. Knowing their behavior means we can make the right decisions to give service. Not knowing your customer and/or drivers does not work in this business. The customer is overly sensitive to time and there is no forgiveness for mistakes especially with precious cargo. The app is still on the shelf but we think we are almost ready. Stay tuned for a possible release in early 2018.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I have been asked this before and I will say it again, Dallas was the perfect place for us. The Republic of Dallas as I call it has the ability to stand on its own. The economy is thriving, unemployment is relatively low, there are cranes throughout town constructing both new commercial and residential. We also have some really smart people in this town and many of them have helped our business along the way. It’s my home and Bubbl’s and we’ll leave the criticism about Dallas to someone else. We love it here and we are grateful for the business environment.
