Today we’d like to introduce you to Pete Taboada.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Pete. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have always had the gift for drawing and painting, in High School I received many art awards. My high school art teacher suggested that I go to graphic design school, in order to make a living. So I did just that, pushing my creativity aside. I was creative doing graphic design, but it is not the same as painting what you want. So my soul’s creativity was put on hold. Lived like this for many years until my heart could not bear the sadness of not being creative.
One day I decided to start painting what was happening within myself, growing, expanding as a person. Painting the unseen. In other words, painting my journey. As I showed my paintings to others, they also wanted for me to paint for them, they want me to paint their true nature, or their true self, their essence. That is what my art is about, the soul of a person, or a company. Painting what truly matters to the person or business.
Has it been a smooth road?
It was hard to understand who your customer is, or could be. So I did a lot of things, events and even marketing trying to reach out to everyone. That did not work so well. Most recently I came across an expert in communications and marketing that help me understand as an artist, the kind of people who could really appreciate what I have to offer. And since then, I have been able to relate to that marketplace can really appreciate the visionary art I create.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Pete Taboada – The Visionary Artist – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I have become known as The Visionary artist. I custom design around a theme if it’s a company or organization. Or capture the essence of the individual for them to have a unique one of a kind art piece. I enjoy doing commission work as well as live events and recently added a charitable division to help raise money for nonprofits and charities.
My clientele ranges from owners of Yoga studio who love to have high energy works of art to help assist in creating the right atmosphere for their Yoga students. To owners of corporations who love to grace their offices with high vibrational pieces of art, that stimulate the workplace and invite a very classy and unique decor for both their employees and visiting clients. My works have found themselves to be attracting to collectors of fine art who appreciate the unique visionary touch that I am able to bring to each art piece.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
There is always something to do, and there are people from all over the world that add to the energy of Dallas. I don’t like the traffic.
