In 2001, I was working for an engineering firm and I noticed the company website wasn’t being maintained. I had a little experience in Photoshop, but no real experience in HTML. After expressing some interest in updating the site, the owner of the company purchased all of the software I needed to make it happen. I quickly learned through trial and error how to build and maintain the website and ended up finding a new passion. I also found a way to add additional value as an employee.
Over the next 10 years, each company I worked for had various needs for web design and marketing materials. I was also approached by friends and family who owned businesses to help expand their online marketing. Each website presented more opportunities to learn and grow my own business. I was able to learn what a business needed to be successful and how the proper marketing tools can accelerate growth.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Owning a business always presents challenges along the way my business isn’t any different. One of the quotes my employees hear often is “Solutions not problems.” I have always believed that being solution-oriented makes solving problems a lot easier. It also allows you to spend energy where you need it instead of being solely focused on problems.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Ryon’s Web Design – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We specialize in web design, search engine optimization (SEO), and social media management for small to medium-sized businesses. Our main goal is making sure a company’s website is helping the business grow. It should look professional, be easy to navigate and work on all devices. Once the basics are covered, we shift to helping our customers generate more leads from their website.
We take great pride in knowing that a company has trusted us with their marketing. It’s a great feeling to help create jobs.
RWD is primarily known for its customer service. Our reputation is built on doing the right thing and making sure our actions match our words.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
The growth we have experienced over the past 4 years has been amazing. We are adding new employees every year and continuing to create new marketing solutions for our clients.
We recently started offering Google 360° Virtual Tours for our SEO clients. This allows customers to explore and interact with your business like never before. The images also help improve your visibility on Google maps.
