Today we’d like to introduce you to Sawyer and Lance Hudson.
Sawyer and Lance, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My brother and I got our first construction job building fences in high school, from there, we both attended college and joined back up in 2012 flipping houses in DFW. We decided to start our own company in 2016; specializing in bathroom and kitchen remodels.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
This has actually been fairly smooth, we have been able to maintain business for the past two years with really no hiccups along the way.
Hudson & Hudson Homes – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are a family owned and operated business; we specialize in all aspects of home remodels. We are known for our bathroom and kitchen remodels and add-ons.
Our company is most proud of the client service; we pride ourselves in doing the best job and not leaving until we have met their upmost expectations.
We set ourselves apart from other contractors by the actual amount of time that we spend at job sites.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Working alongside my brother, having our families involved adds to our success. Having clients refer us business. There are a lot of contractors out there, but we set high standards in the quality of work, the team of sub-contractors who work for us, and the products that we offer.
Most of the jobs that we obtain is by word of mouth that proves we are doing a good job; clients know we are trustworthy and reputable, that is success to us. The markers we look out for our clients that are happy and satisfied at the end of the job.
