Today we’d like to introduce you to T.V. Corrales.
Thanks for sharing your story with us T.V. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
The year was 1990. I had just exited the womb when… oh, in regards to comedy?!? I started as an improviser, but quickly grew tired of the pseudo-open-mindedness of the local improv community and was fortunate enough to find refuge in standup.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Historically, most struggles that I face are fertile soil for jokes, so I try to look at every strife as an opportunity ripe with comedy. And if the road is too smooth, then that’s a sign that a lot of people have traveled down it and I’m typically skeptical about the direction of any given hive. But I’ve learned in comedy that everybody has their own path and ultimately the reward is the journey, so I enjoy working my way up the totem pole.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I have a comedy album dropping this summer called ‘Rebel Without Applause’ that should be available everywhere, including my website, tvcorrales.com. I filmed it at the Backdoor Comedy Club where you can catch me performing most weekend unless my website tells me otherwise. And I host a podcast with my lovely wife called ‘A T.V. Show’ that is also worth checking out.
