Taylor, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
TAYLORNIKOLE.co first started in 2019 as a dream that never went anywhere because of my lack of confidence and time. Beginning of 2020, I moved to NY and it really was an eye-opener on how you can be whatever you put your mind to and work for. Once the Covid outbreak happens, I moved back to Dallas. I had nothing but time on my hands to study my craft and the business I wanted to start. Now eight months later, I have magazine publications, celebrities and hundreds of amazing customers in my designs. This year really taught me how to believe in myself and my art as a designer.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I feel like, without struggles, I’m your business you can’t grow. I’ve definitely had my fair share of hardships. When I first started my packaging was a fail but I learned from that and now it’s amazing. I hand make my jewelry so lots of trial and error with what works and doesn’t work for the best quality. I will say I’m so thankful for all of the struggles because without it my business today wouldn’t move so smoothly.

My collections are designed to represent the connection between art and fashion. I simply want to highlight the beauty of humans in this world. I specialize in making polymer clay earrings that are one of a kind. I believe in making people feel special and exclusive. That is why MY handmade earrings are one of one and will not be replicated exactly to another pair.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
It’s funny because I’m a true believer that everything happens for a reason. I feel this was my exact time to start this business flaws and all got me to where I am today so I would not change anything or do anything differently.
