Meet Teresa Little of Cowboy Thread in Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Teresa Little.

Teresa, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Cowboy Thread was one of 3 businesses I had going at its’ conception.

While ranching, selling a small clothing line and doing some interior design/decorating, I saw an opening to combine, art, clothing, and business (all my passions) with an embroidery/screen printing and promo business.
Specifically targeting the ranching, equine industry that I was heavily involved in but not shying away from diverse opportunities as well.

Has it been a smooth road?
When I started Cowboy Thread, I was still living in Montana about 50 miles from the Canada border. With the” I can do that” attitude I have, (which sometimes gets me in trouble) I bought my first commercial machine.
However, being so far from any kind of instruction I literally had to teach my self the business. There were some days, I wondered.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Cowboy Thread – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
A little more than 20 years later, the business is going strong, still working for elite ranches and showmen but also expanding our diversification in all business areas. We have been proud to do work for Jerry’s of Weatherford, Central Market as well as the Hilton and Ashton hotels to name just a few and are grateful to all.

Cowboy Thread is a full-service embroidery, screen printing, and promotional goods business.

We can use an existing logo or help to design something new.

We strive to understand and create your vision.

In addition to offering years of experience in colors, fabrics, fonts etc. design, color and art are a passion! We want to get your brand on goods in a way that will translate best to that medium so that we may better help you achieve your goal.

I think the one on one customer service the kind that I personally look for when I am purchasing, you know that place where I have” my people” that I can talk with on the phone, ask that one more question or another idea for either a collaboration or a handle it kind of job, make all the difference to me so that is what I try to give back.

I think once you visit with me, you know that if you ask my opinion, I will give it to you truthfully because if I don’t think it will work well I feel a responsibility to tell you rather than just give you what you order. I feel like I have become friends with the people who walk in my door and welcome them as that.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love Fort Worth! We are expanding and diversifying every day. It is so exciting to meet new businesses and be a part of so many different projects.

I feel like the opportunities are endless here!
