Today we’d like to introduce you to Uche Oleru.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Uche. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
For the past three years, I have always had an interest in graphic designing, but felt I never had time to seriously pursue it. It wasn’t until different internships started requiring me to design flyers that I started learning on my own and taking it more serious. I started Touched Media, formerly known as “Touched Photos”, in February of 2019. The business started as just a company that made flyers and has turned into a company that producers logos, videos, animations, as well as flyers and a variety of other things.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road has definitely not been easy. The biggest thing I’ve struggled with is finding my own style when it comes to designing projects. Another struggle I’ve dealt with is just being confident in the things I have created.
Tell us more about your business.
Currently, my business specializes in logos and flyers. Logos are the projects that I produce more frequently than anything else. What I’m most proud of as a company is the amount of growth in such a short time. I am very excited to see what the future holds. I know God is going to do great things with this company. What sets me apart from others is just my creative mind. There are plenty of things that I will be doing soon that haven’t been done yet.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I have never really believed in luck. Everything I have or am able to do is God-given. Whether it is the amount of people that have been sent my way, or how quickly I have been able to master Photoshop, neither of these things can be attributed to luck.
