Zameer, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
We have been serving our customers in the DFW area for more than 20 years and now with the help of social media, we are able to offer our services to our customers all over the United States. We take pride in producing investment-grade pieces that will stand the test of time and thus building a base for long term relationships with our clients. At a time when you can easily find jewelers trying to get your business, we try to make the process convenient for our clients. Unlike other web-based jewelers, we don’t back out after the delivery of the piece. We strive at creating pieces with exceptional value and quality and we offer our customers repair and maintenance services with each piece. This is almost unheard of in the market. We want our customers to be able to enjoy flaunting their pieces without any worry.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Twenty years is a long time to be in this business and you always come up with obstacles along the way. It has never been an easy road, but I believe they keep you humble and always motivated enough to strive for the best. The most recent hurdle has been the pandemic. Covid-19 has really challenged our manufacturing process; from being able to get the raw goods to providing a safe and secure environment for our employees and clients have been challenging. The initial days were rough but now we have been able to cope with the current times and our production period is back on track.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Theicechamp story. Tell us more about the business.
Unlike any other jeweler, we back each of our pieces with warranties. You are able to walk into our store and we will be able to help you with repair, buffing, cleaning and polishing. This will ensure your pieces will always stay as good as when you first got them. Our quality of work also differentiates us from other jewelers. We ensure what we give you has all certificates and appraisals.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I’ve been fortunate enough to serve big names like DeMarcus Lawrence, Amari Cooper, Jason Terry, La’el Collins, Morris Claiborne, Erroll Spence Jr, Deion Sanders and many more. It means a great deal to me that over the years, I have been able to be a part of their journey and growth as well. We also served to Rappers like Bandman Kevo, Riff Raff, Luh Kel, Blac Youngsta, Moneybagg Yo and many more who also have been some of my customers in the past.
