Brow Haus Beaute is here to serve! Hey DFW my name is Britney. The owner of Brow Haus Beaute. I specialize in semi-permanent makeup, specifically for brows. I have always had a passion for beauty since I have been a little girl. Fast forward to 2022 and now I’m a 33-year young woman who loves making women feel beautiful.
I’m born Alabama, raised Louisiana, and since June 2020 I have been making my mark in Texas. I can remember being younger always wanting to move to Dallas but I was too afraid of the “city life” because all I knew how to do, was to be a “country girl”. Look at me now! I’m living life and building a business from the ground up in Dallas.
My love is business and beauty. Quite frankly there is nothing better than seeing the amazement from my client’s faces when I transform their brows from lifeless, to a work of art.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road hasn’t been smooth, I’m the first entrepreneur in my family so naturally, I understand that I won’t get support from family and friends always. That forced my hand at becoming more sociable and start networking more with strangers. I moved here with my son. So, it became the reality for us, that if things didn’t work out, we wouldn’t have family here to fall back on. I needed that type of pressure to go harder.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in semi-permanent makeup for brows. I focus on giving my clients custom-tailored brows. What sets me apart from others is that the brows I create are bold, beautiful, and precise.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Risk-taking is vital for growth. When I decided brows was what I wanted to specialize in. I took my last $2,000 to fly to Vegas for permanent makeup training. I came back home broke with no money but I had acquired a new skill. I was stressed and happy. The first weekend I came back home, I made $1,000 and I knew then that I had made the right choice.
