Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Bradley-Gonzalez.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve been an overachiever, I’ve strived to make sure that I do right by myself and those around me. I am a Dallas native, born at the old St. Paul Hospital (Now UT Southwestern) and I lived in Lancaster until I was five. My life hasn’t been easy but with drive to overcome adversity it can be done to achieve all of your dreams.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My road hasn’t been the smoothest, but I’m still grateful. When I was three years old, I lost my mom. As anyone who has lost a mother no matter how old understands how rough it can be. I grew up without her so learning how to be a lady was foreign to me. When you are used to your dad, you lose touch with your femininity. I was very blessed growing up; so I never lacked anything financially but emotionally I constantly struggled. My mental health wasn’t always the best and, I had to constantly pick myself up by the bootstraps.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am very multifaceted. I have my own business that I started with my husband, which is Legendary Paper Services LLC, which specializes in Notary and Graphic Design. Another thing that I am very proud of is my sales capability, I also have my insurance license in over 20 states, and I specialize in Medicare. I love what I do in my Business and Employer world. I have been blessed to be able to help over 100 people this past Annual Enrollment Period with finding a plan that would meet their needs. The reason I do what I do is because I want to help people professionally, financially, mentally, and even spiritually if I need to. I grew up know how it is to need someone, so I want to be that person for others.
How do you define success?
I define success by having peace, success isn’t always having all of the things that you wanted to achieve. I once had everything that I thought would be “success” and I was at one of the lowest points of my life. I learned that success is having the freedom to do the things you love, not having all of the things you desired.
