Hi Carla, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I started out as any photographer does, taking any and all session to get the hang of what I wanted to do. It wasn’t until I did my mother’s boudoir photos, that I realized this is something I loved doing.
Since then, I have opened so many doors to more intimate work and it has made the journey so amazing. I love hearing everyone’s story along the way and seeing how much more they love themselves after their session.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road I’ve been on has been a very curvy road, lots of challenges along the way. But I wouldn’t want it any other way. It has pushed myself into this incredible artist who is different from the rest. My struggles aren’t going to be the same as everyone but A few would be keeping up with the day-to-day while ruining your own business. Making friends in the industry. I think the biggest one was finding my own style but once you do👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am an intimate couple and boudoir photographer in the DFW area. I’m known for boudoir and the way I connect with my couples. I think what sets me apart from the rest is my genuine connection I have with all my clients. I’m there to bring their inner confidence out, I’m there to make a connection fire again.
I’ve learned how to break people out of their shells and open them up to new possibilities. 🥰
