Hozier: The Unreal Unearth Tour

Irish musician and singer-songwriter, Hozier, brought ethereal magic and raw, earthy authenticity to the Toyota Music Factory on October 10th. This sold-out show was announced after his original tour launch, due to increasingly high demand from Texas indie music fans. His genre-bending and eclectic sound draws inspiration from the depths of folk, soul and blues. He frequently incorporates religious and literary motifs alongside a commitment to political and social justice issues. Most famously known for his 2013 hit, “Take Me To Church”, with nearly 2.3 BILLION streams on Spotify, his new 2023 album “Unreal Unearth” was highly anticipated by fans across the globe.

Standing tall at 6’6” in a gunmetal gray boilersuit, Andrew John Hozier-Byrne and his curly brown locks, opened with “De Selby Part 1 and 2”, transitioning into performing crowd favorites, such as the beautiful acoustic “Cherry Wine” and the emotive and heartwarming “Like Real People Do”. Massive tree roots cascaded from the rafters of the stage and graphics of a blood moon played on the screen behind the band. It was a memorable night that Hozier fans will cherish for years to come.
