What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?

We’ve been working on our publication and platform for almost a decade because we deeply believe that the world will be a far more empathetic and collaborative place if we all had the ability to know each other’s stories. The past decade has brought unimaginable challenges along the way, but we persevere because we believe this is mission worth never giving up on. We often are inspired by the folks we’ve featured and their commitment to their respective missions and so we asked some of them to talk to us about this very topic and have share some responses below.

No matter how long i have on this earth i will preach and worship my King in Heaven Jesus Christ. My work is an extension of my heart and my true passion; that is to be a disciple and a light for Him. I’m committed to the discovery of self! And, I know it will take a life time. I think we all are doing this in some way or another, as it is as close to the meaning of ‘living’ I can think of. Read more >>>

I believe every person has a story to tell. My goal is to convince every person I meet to write or record his or her story. As a child I did not know to ask questions about my mother’s and grandmother’s lives. I wish they had realized how important their stories would be, and had documented them somehow. Read more >>>
