What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?

There is no one path – to success or even to New York (or Kansas). Similarly, what matters to others can vary widely – so we tried to tighten up that question to focus on three key traits to see what most folks in our community valued most – intelligence, energy, or integrity?

Good question. Intelligence, energy, or integrity. It’s always going to be integrity for me. Intelligence without integrity can be dangerous. With integrity comes honesty and trust. Integrity is literally doing the right thing when no one is around. Accountability, I need to know I can count on the people around me. Choosing between intelligence, energy or integrity seems a little like Sophie’s choice, having to give up two to claim one. All three are immensely important to a business man. Honestly I cannot choose. I will say first energy outweighs all. Good energy is just magnificent and receptive and all good will flow from it. 2nd integrity, without integrity your energy isn’t genuine.
