Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronsanto Cole.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Ronsanto. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Growing up it was instilled in me that I should go to school, go to college, and get a job, the same as everybody else. After high school, I went to Western Kentucky University, but a series of unexpected events led to a quick dismissal. Over the next few years, I began taking odd jobs here and there, sparking my interest in the culinary arts field, leading to my position as sous-chef. Meanwhile, I continued taking college courses, but overall I always felt the urge to take control of the situations and boss up my life. To expand my opportunities, I decided to move to Dallas in 2014. Upon my arrival, I had the opportunity to be a chef for the Dallas Mavericks. Being in this atmosphere gave me the opportunity to speak and network with people from all walks of life (CEO’s, business owners, salespeople, etc.). One of the common lessons I learned was to work on my personal growth. This was the missing piece I needed to begin my entrepreneurial journey. Later that year I began my first business, my clothing line (Favor Ain’t Fair), following up with my janitorial company (Pure Elegance Cleaning) the next year. Currently, both of these are structured under Santoworld LLC.
Has it been a smooth road?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. There were a lot of ups and downs and obstacles in my life I needed to overcome. There are still certain obstacles I overcome daily. The struggles along the way were not typical struggles. My entire life I’ve endured a series of traumatic events. When I was 20 years old, I woke up to find myself in critical condition after being shot, days after returning home from my second semester at Western Kentucky University. I often made things harder for myself by taking the road less traveled and not always making the right decisions. As a result, I didn’t have the same connections most entrepreneurs have, a lot of situations I had to figure out how to work out on my own. Throughout all the obstacles, trials, and tribulations it could be said I failed my way to success.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
Santoworld LCC is simply a parent company for the many ventures I am and plan to be involved in. Currently, I have a janitorial company, Pure Elegance Cleaning, which specializes in commercial cleaning contracts. We do business with large corporations including franchise and private businesses. Having the ability to meet the needs of these huge juggernauts puts my business on a path for rapid growth. Favor Ain’t Fair (FAF) is a fashion line that I began in 2014. Creating and designing clothing has always been a passion. The brand focuses on casual and fitness gear. I’ve had the privilege to travel many places and have used different cultural trends to incorporate a unique style that separates the brand from our competitors. The diversity of Santoworld LLC allows me to explore my entrepreneurial spirit; being able to be involved in the corporate world while allowing me to explore my creative ability through Favor Ain’t Fair. We are also working on deals with real estate and tech companies.
What has been the proudest moment of your career so far?
I continue to have very proud moments as I watch my ideas formulate into structured businesses. I have been featured on a number of podcasts, Favor Ain’t Fair has been in numerous magazines and fashion shows, Pure Elegance cleaning has expanded to a multitude of cities and states. The success of my multiple business ventures has allowed me to be a mentor to those with a similar background as myself, which is my proudest moment thus far.
