Logan, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Becoming “The Heart Hatter” was very random and truly a gift sent to me from above. My Me Maw (grandmother) blessed me with my first felt hat. It was so special to me! It was made of black beaver felt with an orange bandana wrapped around it! My hat made me feel confident, unique, and different! I wore it every day until it was stolen from me! I was on a set shooting when a man on a bicycle snatched my hat and rode off into the distance. I called my Me Maw and told her the news about the hat I loved so dearly. She told me ”you better learn how to make you a hat then!” I took her to advise and taught myself how to make hats! I learned the history of the milliner and how to create a hat from top to bottom, which inspired me to create the most cared for, unique, detailed, and highest quality hat one can make! I am a visionary artist, designer, pro model, and adventurous entrepreneur. I am a firm believer in spreading Christ’s true love and joy throughout the world with my gifts and talents. Designing and creating art is the best way I know how to do that. It is just such a blessing to finally see good seeds grow and to now have the opportunities I have ahead of me.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Although creating Heart Hatter has been a fun adventure, it also takes much time, effort and faith to create something from nothing. Business will always have ups and downs. Life will always good days and bad days. that is just part of it! I have learned to enjoy the work! Enjoy the puzzle of life! We can not give up just because we have a minor set back, that is all part of the test. We are never given too much to handle and we choose whether to have a good attitude about our situations! I Love It! I love the challenge! I love the grind! I love being creative and exploring!

Each Heart Hat is custom to fit each and every individual’s personality and style! It starts with my vision, my philosophy, and my art into the hat. The love we have at HEART HATTER, to bless people, to show them how special they are, always being personal with each product, and the customer is what makes the experience so special! Not to mention the care and quality time spent with each product item being made. We are proud to be able to share the love of Christ with every Heart Hat made! How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Shifts within fashion trends will come and go just like they always have in years past, As the world continues to grow the fashion industry will continue to grow, period!
The way I view the “industry” is that it is one big art industry that everyone is involved with! That being said, EVERYONE has THEIR OWN STYLE of ART. Some people express their art though speaking, cooking, drawing, teaching, problem-solving, organizing, singing, sewing, painting, designing, writing, etc., and I express my art though HEART HATTER.
