Today we’d like to introduce you to JamVisions CamGod.
JamVisions, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I never went to film school, I just had a passion for film, my son’s mother had a camera and I asked to just use it, so I started studying on YouTube, started putting in practice what I was learning on different YouTube channels about the camera I was using. By going outside and just shooting everything, next thing I got a message from Jeff Adair to assist him in a video, and I was working but when Jeff and I knew I was heading in the right direction. So, I worked with Jeff Adair for long hours, to make every footage count, so in that, I had no car, so since I stayed in fort worth, there was no train to take me home after ten. So, I would sleep at the bus stop till 5 am in the morning. However, this happened for a few months, but then I got a vehicle, started shooting at clubs in Dallas and Fort Worth, most of the time both cities on the same night, I give my all into this, whatever you have in passion, you should give 110% and you don’t have to be the best, you just have to at least try and never give up. However, fast forward from me starting in June 2017 to present, I have worked with Lil Wayne, Tony Rock, Michael Jackson, Nick Cannon, Yella Beezy, went on tour with Lil Ronny Motha, dcyoungfly, all of MTV wildnout crew, faizon love, Meek Mills, Travis Scott, Young Jeezy, Monique, hollyhoodbaybay, Cardi B, Migos, and many more.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There is always definitely struggles from relationships, not getting booked, life period, and having no job.
Please tell us about Jamvisions.
My company is full of media from photography, promo videos, music videos, and I shoot a lot of concerts or shooting celebrity artists personally. I’m proud of my growth and always trying to better myself, what sets me apart is I work hard, I give my all in each project which makes my turnaround time faster.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Spending time with my grandmother in Landover, MD.
