Today we’d like to introduce you to Papatia Feauxzar.
Papatia, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I’m a former Senior Accountant for Cinemark HQ. I decided to pursue Accounting from home while homeschooling my son. I’m a writer, so I have my own publishing company where I publish books written by Muslims; fiction and non-fiction. I’m a self-taught barista who owns an online coffee/tea bookstore as well. I’m outgoing and passionate about my calls. Finally, I have a Master in Accounting with a minor in Personal Finance.
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I love to write books centering on steaming romance in Muslim and non-Muslim settings. I also dab into other areas such as magical realism dystopian Young Adult genres. I write in almost any genre, but Romance and YA are my primary focus. My goal is to make young Muslims reclaim their faith and not feel alienated by it. Cool and being Muslim go hand-in-hand. My writing pieces are thought-provoking and quirky.
Any advice for aspiring or new artists?
My advice: Be Yourself. Dream Big. And mute the haters.
Lessons I learned: Don’t try to impress anybody but your Creator. He will open doors for you.
