Today we’d like to introduce you to Beatrice Duku.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Beatrice. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I actually started work as a Nurse Instructor at a school, one year before I started my own school.
I had the passion to help people and to change lives.
Started my first class in April 2011, and faced a lot of challenges, just like every other person. But never gave up.
The passion to touch lives, gave me the strength to move on. I gave it all my time to make it grow., and God who rewards hard work and dedication, rewarded Springpack, and we grow from one location to becoming three schools. One in Arlington, and two in Fort Worth. I have dedicated staffs, and ever supporting children, who would take time to work when I could not afford to pay employees.
When I was so down at the beginning and was close to shutting down business, my son stood by me, and helped with paying the bills.
I kept believing God for His Grace and for a better tomorrow.
We are seven years in business now, and have trained hundreds of students. There is hardly any Healthcare facility I get into, without meeting a Springpack graduates.
They are so dedicated, because that is what the Springpack stands for., Today, so many employers come to the school graduation to hire students upon graduation.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
At first, getting enough students per class was very difficult.
The bills were overwhelming.
Please tell us about Springpack Healthcare Institute.
Springpack Healthcare Institute, LLC, is a Nurse Aide school, that train people to become certified with the state of Texas.
They work in all areas of Healthcare. From hospitals, to home health, to Nursing homes, hospice, sitting, and even doctors’ offices.
Springpack Healthcare Institute, LLC, has so many class schedules that are flexible and makes it perfect for anyone to fit in as a student, and still go about their other duties.
This is one of the only schools that has the owner as a Nurse who teaches the students effectively, and does the job full time.
We never cancel classes, and most of our students pass the state test without difficulty.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
How I started buying and selling little stuffs without fear of losing, and how my mother was afraid, I was going to waste her money, and how it had often turned out that I made more money.
