Meet Frances Jimenez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Frances Jimenez.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Frances. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started fashion blogging a few years ago. I began right after I had my second child. After my first child, I had postpartum depression and I didn’t care too much about my personal image. I was a stay at home mom with no desire to hype myself up. Oversized t-shirts and ponytails were my daily choices.

It wasn’t till after I had my second child that I learned to love myself and it showed. Having kids changes your life in so many ways. With being a mom to three beautiful kids. I just want the world to know that having kids doesn’t mean to let yourself go to give up. It’s a new chapter in life that’s worth every struggle. I began modeling for a few boutiques, I never would have thought I met that criteria. I am now a fashion influencer for so many boutiques. I adore every hard-working person, their hustle amazes me. And one day my dream is to have my boutique my way with my styles.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been hard life has been hard as a stay at home mom to three kids. Don’t get me wrong it’s my greatest joy being with my kids every day but looking in the mirror a knowing your body isn’t what it was and won’t ever be what it use to be. My job is 24/7 there no lunch out time no breaks it’s non stop.  With the support of my husband Oscar Jimenez it’s all possible.

Please tell us about your work.
My purpose is to show Mother’s, wife’s, sisters, daughters, to love yourself even if you aren’t the “ideal image” that just because you aren’t a size zero doesn’t mean you aren’t supposed to wear that crop top, just because your not an extra small doesn’t mean you can’t rock that mini skirt. That just because your a mom doesn’t mean u have to dress “like a mom” by the way what does that even mean? I model for different boutiques the first one was Eloísa store if it wasn’t for Eloísa I never would have thought I was capable. I am now an influencer for many boutiques. I’m known to express my self with my clothes my hair my makeup it’s my way of freedom. Showing love and support to everyone I meet I think is one of my greatest aspects.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory was getting in trouble for playing in my mom’s makeup. Every time I had seen her sit at her vanity and get ready I just had the urge to do the same. Her bright red lipstick was everything to me. And to this day that is now my favorite shade of lipstick!
