Beauty with Purpose: Brianne Provenzale on Building Zamara Through Resilience, Motherhood, and Meaning

For Brianne Provenzale, Zamara is more than a rebrand — it’s a reflection of growth, intention, and lived experience. Shaped by motherhood and her journey as a melanoma survivor, she’s redefining beauty through products that prioritize both confidence and long-term health. By pairing her brand with advocacy through the Provenzale Foundation, Brianne is creating a space where self-care meets purpose — empowering women to feel strong, informed, and unapologetically themselves.

Brianne, Zamara is deeply personal, even in its name. How did this rebrand reflect your evolution both as a business owner and as a mother?
Zamara represents a much deeper chapter of my life. When I first started my business, it was rooted in creativity and passion, but over time, my purpose evolved. As a mother, everything I do now is more intentional. I’m not just creating products, I’m creating something my children can be proud of and learn from.

The rebrand into Zamara reflects growth, resilience, and clarity in my mission. I wanted a brand that felt elevated, meaningful, and aligned with the woman I’ve become. It’s no longer just about beauty products, it’s about confidence, self-worth, and creating something that leaves a lasting impact, both for my family and for the people we serve.

Your brand has expanded from skincare into sunless tanning and SPF. How has your experience as a melanoma survivor shaped the products you create and the mission behind them?
My experience with melanoma completely changed my perspective on beauty and skincare. It made me realize how important it is to protect your skin while still feeling confident in it.

That’s really where the expansion into sunless tanning and SPF came from. I wanted to create safer alternatives that allow people to achieve that glow without putting their health at risk. It’s not about avoiding beauty trends, it’s about redefining them in a way that prioritizes long-term health.

Every product I create now is rooted in that mindset. I’m not just thinking about how something looks, but how it impacts someone’s well-being. That experience gave Zamara a deeper purpose, blending beauty with education and prevention.

You’re balancing entrepreneurship with roles like USA Cheerleader and Miss DFW. How do these experiences influence the confidence and identity behind Zamara?
Those experiences have played a huge role in shaping both my confidence and the identity behind Zamara. Being in spaces like professional dance and pageantry pushes you to show up at your highest level, even on days when you don’t feel your best.

But what I’ve learned is that confidence isn’t something you either have or don’t have. It’s something you build through discipline, self-trust, and consistency.

That same philosophy is at the core of Zamara. I want women to feel confident not just when they look good, but because they’ve developed that inner foundation. Everything I do, from the products to the messaging, is meant to empower women to feel strong, capable, and unapologetically themselves.

Through the Provenzale Foundation, you’re combining beauty with advocacy. Why is it so important for you to educate and raise awareness alongside building your brand?
For me, it’s not enough to just build a successful brand. I want to make a real difference.

Skin cancer is something that affects so many people, yet there’s still a lack of awareness when it comes to prevention and early detection. Through the Provenzale Foundation, I have the opportunity to use my platform to educate, advocate, and support those who are going through it.

Zamara and the foundation go hand in hand. One represents prevention and confidence, while the other focuses on awareness and impact. Together, they allow me to turn my personal experience into something that can genuinely help others.

Looking ahead, what kind of impact do you hope to make at the intersection of beauty, self-care, and purpose-driven entrepreneurship?
Looking ahead, my goal is to redefine what beauty means. I want Zamara to be known not just for high-quality products, but for standing for something bigger.

I hope to create a brand that encourages women to prioritize their health, invest in themselves, and build confidence from the inside out. At the same time, I want to continue growing the Provenzale Foundation to expand access to education, prevention, and support for those affected by skin cancer.

Ultimately, I want to show that you can build something beautiful while also making a meaningful impact. That beauty and purpose don’t have to be separate, they can exist together in a powerful way.
