Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassandra Daniel.
Cassandra, before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
It’s amazing how your life’s plan ends up in a different plan. BBA major in Marketing from the University of Houston(Go Coogs), I initially planned to be a Brand Manager in hopes of using my creativity for other businesses on the rise. I’ve always been obsessed with the transformation of a woman in the beauty industry and wanted to study cosmetology, but I soon learned my passion was not in hair. In 2012, I began my interest in Makeup by way of self-application until I was comfortable and confident in applying makeup on others. With practice, training from two of the most talented MUAs in the game, and my love for the artistry, I honestly don’t see myself doing anything other than Makeup… I absolutely love it!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Moving to a new city not really knowing anyone and starting completely over in clientele and connects has been one of the hardest parts of my journey, BUT, nothing worth having comes easy! I’ve had several moments of self-doubt, disappointments and lessons of the game that could have made me throw in the towel. I honestly believe my passion for my artistry, the realization of my growth and staying prayerful knowing that God has plans for me to prosper, has kept me in forwarding motion. It’s definitely not easy but I have faith it will all be worth it in the end.

blendedbyCassie specializes in the transformative Glam catered to all women for any occasion… red carpet, celebratory, bridal and professional looks. My goal is to make each client only an enhanced version of themselves while complimenting their final look as they prepare and slay for the day!
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I’m not one to believe in luck, but I will say that I have been blessed with many opportunities (good and bad) that have presented me with lessons that I had to learn in order to propel or prepare me for my next step in my journey.
