Today we’d like to introduce you to Davis Speight.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Davis. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Speight began his career in auto sales on impulse when he walked into a Honda dealership in 1996 and was hired on-the-spot. After one short year, Speight moved over to a Jeep store where he was promoted to the Fleet. Manager, averaging 38 units sold per month. He spent the following nine years at Boardwalk Porsche building a client base of lifelong friendships. Most recently, Speight served as President and General Manager of Starwood Motors, one of the top 100 fastest growing companies in Dallas in 2013.
Following his time working for elite auto companies, Speight founded Reserve Auto Group in January 2017 to foster his vision for luxury vehicles and, most importantly, continue developing his strong client relationships. In addition to growing his business, Speight is also responsible for selecting and vetting all vehicles purchased and sold at Reserve Auto Group. He has been featured in multiple publications, including the cover of The Dallas Morning News, The Huffington Post, Motoring Exposure and Fox Sports, for his auto expertise.
Speight currently resides in Frisco, Texas with his wife and three children.
Has it been a smooth road?
Not exactly but that’s not a bad thing. I have absolutely had struggles but I have learned from those struggles. At every job, I have learned something that I have taken to my next venture and even to this day, I position myself around those who I look up to and I can lean on for advice. I have always listened to other’s perspectives on issues and learned as much as I can before making a final decision on any obstacle that I have faced. My favorite advisory is my wife; she always gives it to me straight sometimes a little too straight ;-).
Something I learned from one of my previous endeavors is how important it is to stay focused at the task at hand. this is hard though and I realize its especially hard for others but I have a strange ability to leave my problems at the doorstep when I walk into the building each day. I come in every day with a positive mental attitude and a plan to crush it each and every day. My focus, positive mental attitude, and strong work ethic are what get me through each day.

The DFW marketplace is a growing economy. Home prices, real estate prices, they all continue to rise due to the influx of people new to the metroplex. We are positioned right in the heart of the growth and right off Highway 121 across from GrandScapes which is home to Nebraska Furniture Mart, Warren Buffets’ latest crown jewel in the furniture arena. As I look out my office window, all I see is cranes and more construction. We could not be in a better place.
