Araebia, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
WEDDINGS –> I am an award-winning photographer originally from NYC –> NC–>Dallas TX United States. I am the mom of six beautiful children and the widow of an amazing husband. I love the Lord, and He is first in everything that I do, that’s why my business is built on Colossians 3:23. Miss Araebia Photography we believe there is not a moment more magical than when one becomes a parent or bride.

It is an honor to be a part of capturing this amazing process, and documenting one of the most special times in life. When it comes to photography my wedding couples, I hold an incredible passion for life, love and documenting the emotional moments that add meaning to their lives. My approach to photography is natural and relationship-oriented; I love to get to know my clients long before putting them in front of the lens, which is why all of our weddings come with a complementary engagement session. I want to hear all about your love story so I can tell it in the light and color.

Has it been a smooth road?
Some obstacles that I have faced is starting all over in an area where I don’t know anyone. Finding new faces and new clients to become a part of the MAP team. Also; being humble in this season while learning the true meaning of perseverance. The little things are important and they also can make or break you. 🙂

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Miss Araebia Photography – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
I am a natural light photographer who loves shooting fun & unique sessions. I love seniors because they’re unique, fun and quirky and I tend to get them out of their shell and show them just how beautiful they are. I love shooting weddings, but mostly small weddings or elopements. The moments that are often overlooked, but together make up the very emotional essence of a wedding, and of our lives. These moments are so incredibly special – I strive to give them life and the importance they deserve. Moments you may not even notice at the time, but look back on later in photographs and cherish. Your final images will reflect not only the big happenings during your wedding but all the little pieces of story along the way.

I work with a professional hair and makeup artist for ALL my clients to offer them an experience of a lifetime. (Chynjah. Delain Instagram). She has studied under Paul Mitchell and Ogle for her studies and she’s constantly learning new and exciting things to make sure our clients look natural and enhance their already god-given beauty. We use professional airbrush as well.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I do not like BULLIES…AT ALL!!! Everyone has their place in society and everyone is not set to walk on the same road as you. Learn to give people their space and let them walk according to their desires.
