Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Bertrand.
Danielle, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
As a business educator, I would often time find myself sitting in my classroom at lunch just wondering what else was out there for me. I enjoyed and still enjoy teaching but I knew there was more. I had been working on a book for a while titled “Girl, It’s Go Time” but I wasn’t living out the words I had written. I had struggled for a while with finishing things. I would start with zeal and overtime just put it down. I told my then fiancé, whom I recently married 8.24.19, about this issue and asked him to hold me accountable and he did. He no longer allowed me to start and stop midway. With that being said he encouraged me to complete and publish “Girl, It’s Go Time” which was released July 2019. During that time, God placed it on my heart that over women between the ages of 25-35 needed that type of support as well. PusHER, Inc was created to empower women ages 25-35 to get off the sideline through mentoring, books and inspirational apparel. Our mission is to have “tribes” of women meet bi-monthly around the world that pushes each other to the next level. We help women get unstuck.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There have been some obstacles. One main one being my husband and I just recently moved to Dallas from Baton Rouge, LA. I had a presence in Baton Rouge because I was born and raised there. Now, the mission is to connect with the women in my community of Dallas and surrounding areas. I am grateful to you at the Dallas Voyage for this amazing opportunity to share who we are and what we stand for.
Please tell us about PusHER, Inc. – what should we know?
PusHER, Inc is a company for empowering women on every level. As an educator and entrepreneur, I understand the struggles women go through daily to try and get there brand out there to the masses. I also understand the importance of community and vulnerability. PusHER, Inc. offers community on and offline. We have two books to empower “Girl, It’s Go Time” and “the PUSH” which is a devotional for Powerhouses who are tired of living life on the sideline. We also offer one on one coaching sessions to help get your ideas from your mind to the marketplace. I do speaking engagements on the topics of self-confidence, purpose and entrepreneurship. I also have an apparel brand “Property of the King” that promotes the Kingdom of God in a dope way.

My husband, Lance Bertrand, has been a great support. I tell him that he is my own personal PusHER. He pushes me to complete tasks in excellence.
My family and friends have been extremely supportive through buying products and simply showing up.
