Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex Kautz.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Alex. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’ve been singing, playing guitar, and writing music since I was 13. I used to want to be signed to a record label, but after years of rejection I decided to create my own label – Haus of Kautz Record Label, I have been steadily releasing music ever since!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Not at all. The music industry is a tough one, but you eventually grow a thick skin. I’ve been told “no” more times than I would be willing to admit! But, it’s all about the journey and the hard times help to write the best songs.
Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I’m a 25-year-old alternative pop singer/songwriter, but I’m also a visual person. For each song, I release trippy, surreal music videos as well. These videos are not your average “music videos”… they have storylines and are interconnected to each other. My videos can be found on both YouTube and my website!
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Luck is everything. I used to think that things would just eventually “happen” for me. This has not been the case!
