Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Castillo.
Victoria, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am a model based in Dallas TX. I started modeling when I was 15 and signed with an agent. I started with beauty pageants, extra work for commercials, and worked my way up to freelance modeling. I am still signed with my Agency today as well, but more so branch out on my own. I’ve done Brand Ambassador work and Promotional Modeling for about six years which inspired me to launch my own Marketing & Staffing Agency today! Throughout the years of working with a ton of talented people, business owners, reps, etc., I learned the knowledge I knew I needed in order to run my own agency. As a model, I love what I do with both promotional and commercial work. I knew at some point I would want to step away from being in front of the cameras and be more behind the scenes running the show, and the same goes for promotions!
This all inspired me to start building my own Modeling & Staffing Agency so that I can still be apart of what I love and believe in, while slowly stepping away from doing it all hands on. Over my years I have always had multiple businesses and reps asking me if I’m available for events, and if I wasn’t if I could point them into the direction of a reliable friend who could! This was even more encouraging to start pursuing my own company and team of models! Needless to say, I am so proud to welcome VC Marketing Agency to you all! We are based out here in Dallas TX, but always on the move! Dallas is not the last stop for us.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Originally when I first announced my companies launch I wasn’t expecting to really get started until summer of 2020. I wanted to take January – March to get all media together, as well as creating my team! After that, I then wanted to start networking and planning and bringing everything to action throughout April til about June. However, with everyone’s support we actually launched our first event this year in February! Everything started so fast and I am so incredibly grateful for it all. We kicked off in full effect from there and we had several events booked and planned!
I was so excited and everything was going great until COVID- 19 took place and put everything on pause. As you know with restaurants and bars being closed and the limitation of large groups we were forced to take a step back and patiently wait. I don’t see this as a huge set back as we are already picking right back up where we left off and we are so ready to show you what we have in store for this year!

I am most proud of how fast my company has taken off in such a short period of time! I am incredibly grateful and we will continue to succeed! Dallas is just the beginning for us.
I want to shout out to my best friend Kayla Covington who is now hired on as our Executive Booking Manager. She helps my company run smoothly and I couldn’t do it without her!
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I am most proud of how fast my company has taken off in such a short period of time! I am incredibly grateful and we will continue to succeed!
To me success is accomplishing anything you have put your mind to. I’m a very visual person and I always speak into existence. If I want something, I talk about it, visualize it, and even write it down! I’ve always heard if your dreams don’t scare you then they are too small, and I’ve always lived by that. I know this is going to be a challenging journey, but the outcome is going to be amazing. You can’t have the mindset of just starting another business for the money. A good successful dream requires a purpose and our purpose here at VC Marketing Agency is to make a difference.
