Meet Kristen Hebert of Happily Hebert in Frisco

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristen Hebert.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Just a small-town Texas girl who has a love for fashion, beauty, fitness, and family. I currently reside in a large suburb of far north Dallas with my husband Nicholas, along with our two precious toddlers, Archer and Fiona. My babes are 19 months apart and are B.U.S.Y. The majority of my immediate family is within a 10-15 mile radius and we like it that way- always in each other’s business.

I’m a retired teacher turned to stay at home mom. Also, I juggle being a part-time personal stylist for Stitch Fix, using my master’s degree in fashion merchandising, all of which has influenced me to create this beautiful blog HappilyHebert.

I pride myself on being a very loyal friend and have always loved helping others look and feel their best. When I was younger, I was a major tomboy- that’s where my love for fitness and all things active come into play. I’m one of three sisters, my parents have been married for 40+ years and I love my crazy dys”fun”ctional family with my whole heart. I’m a lover of the Lord, but by no means am I perfect. Heck, who is? If any of this hits home for you, then YOU are my people!

I am hoping that my blog and Instagram can be a safe and empowering space for people to come to escape and find inspiration (and a good bargain) in the midst of all of life’s chaos.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would say my biggest challenge has been building a following. The influencing platform is an extremely saturated space, so finding your niche is very important. This took me a little longer than I thought, however, it was totally worth it. Through this time, I really figured out who was in my corner and there for the right reasons.

Please tell us about Happily Hebert.
At Happily Hebert, we specialize in sharing a variety of on-trend deals, steals, and inspiration that stands out from the rest. Our motto is EMPOWERED WOMEN EMPOWER WOMEN. I feel like this sets us apart because we are able to motivate others to believe in themselves and understand their ability to control their personal and professional lives through fashion, beauty, and fitness tips and tricks. Although I love sharing big-box retailers, I love to highlight and support smaller businesses because I know they benefit from the exposure. I always told myself that I would not be driven by commissions or affiliations, but by helping others to love themselves and appreciate what they are capable of in life.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Relatability is huge in this profession. Being relatable allows you to reach further into relationships with your followers and create a stronger rapport with each person. This allows those individuals to trust what you share and potentially make purchases based on your opinion.
