Tiffany, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I became well known in the Collin County area for growing women’s hair by using hair extensions. It was great! But I wanted more! I knew that I could increase the hair growth my 50% if the clients had a product to use at home or on the go. It would be a solution to the common concerns and complaints that I would get while the client wore the hair extensions. I needed to make sure it would grow and sustain hair growth on a cellular level. I also wanted it to be natural, effective, easy to apply, and affordable. After years of research and trying out different ingredient mixes, I founded INDIGO OIL. It’s a time-specific hair growth oil that’s applied with a glass dropper. We have an online store, and its available inside of INDIGO SALON in Plano, Texas. We have shipped all over the world! Our most recent order was in the UK! I am so thankful for everyone’s business and support.
Has it been a smooth road?
Definitely not the easiest thing I’ve done, LOL! The product and e-commerce world is definitely more complex to me than the beauty world. Dealing with suppliers, freight, manufacturing, customers near and far, OH MY! And when the pandemic hit, all of our supplies began to be delayed, and some stuff increased in price which hurt our bottom line.
But it’s rewarding, too! We get great feedback on the results and the hope it gives to people. People want options. Hair loss is very embarrassing and difficult to manage and accept. We are providing solutions to people who believed they had none.

I am a hairstylist and salon owner of 13 years. I have worked in the Plano area my entire career. I specialize in healthy hair care and growth, hair extensions, and product development. My attention to detail, professionalism, ability and techniques I use to grow hair has definitely catapulted my career and carried me places I never thought I’d go to. I’ve educated other hair professionals at hair shows, in classes, and in the salon. Continued education is a must for me while I am in the beauty industry.
It has always been important for me to respect my guest’s time while giving them a unique, enjoyable experience and providing them with the solution to their hair care needs.
