Ana, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I actually suffered a Transient Ischemic Attack, which is a minor stroke in 2015. I was only 29 at the time. I ended up being $34,000 in debt with medical bills. Four months later, I found out about Living Benefits. How I could have used my Life Insurance money while I was alive. I quickly realized that not many people are aware of the changes that occurred in the Life Insurance Industry and many people who have suffered a major illness could have taken advantage of.
After being so close to being paralyzed for the rest of my life, I decided to live life purposely and connect with a platform that shed light and abundance when people needed it the most. I have connected with many individuals and serve people in seven different states. I have witnessed the company I represent deliver checks to clients of mine due to a critical illness or death. The one case I remember is an eight-year-old little girl who had two brain tumors and a tumor in her kidney. Her mother had purchased the policy for college funding eight months before she was diagnosed. The company was able to advance her 70% of her Life Insurance upfront. To have an amazing relationship with my client and to see her daughter’s bravery was an experience I will cherish forever. The little girl recovered and became my superhero. Our entire team made her a comic book during her recovery. What we do is beyond just serving. Not only do we create options for you financially but we become a beacon of light when you can’t seem to find the light on your own. We are serving an amazing purpose and the platform we use is one that is ensuring impact.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. When you mention Life Insurance to people, there is this negative connotation attached to it. When Life Insurance is mentioned, the first thing that pops into people’s minds is leaving behind a death benefit, a legacy or funeral paid for. In 2007 the Life Insurance Industry revolutionized, adding the full living benefits to policy. So now if doctors say you have 24 months to live, get a chronic Illness, suffer from a critical illness or a critical Injury, your able to access up to $1.5 Million from your Life Insurance. As you can see, the Insurance Industry has changed and it is really important for people to know. In Agents of Change, we understand that the only challenges we have is to move with speed to reach people before COVID19, Cancer, Heart Attack or a Stroke occur.

I would have to say Thuy Dung Nguyen. She introduced me to the business platform and has transformed many people’s lives beyond mine. A lot of times, we don’t realize we are planting seeds until you see the tree you planted grow. That’s exactly what is happening. I am beyond blessed to have an amazing mentor Denise Do who helped me feel and step into my ultimate self in every area of my life. God uses broken people to make people whole and when you realize you are whole, you are able to serve from a place of Love and Abundance. Denise taught me what I know in the business and created the space to insure impact in this world. My team who wake up every morning, stating what they are grateful for before starting their day. Who sit in endless appointments to serve beyond their families. My team, who fight for their own dreams and along the way, inspire me to keep serving everyday. There is a strong purpose in this world for all of us to be united and I am honored to live each day with them.
