Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Williams.
Hi Brittney, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am the CEO/Founder of The Creative Juices Group. An online social space and community I developed for fellow Black Female Creatives, Creatives of color and #Creativepreneurs. As well, as a Marketing Consultant and Digital Content Creator for Small Businesses and Startups under my personal brand Brittney Williams Marketing Consulting. In which I primarily help small businesses and startups level up their online and offline Marketing, Content, Branding and Social Media, who have smaller budgets needed to obtain their ultimate Marketing goals.
My story and love for creativity began early on as a child and definitely has grown in so many ways over the years. After obtaining my business and marketing degrees from the University of North Texas. I spent a few years in the corporate world Managing and working at various Marketing, Advertising and PR agencies within the DFW area. Before starting my entrepreneurial journey and beginning my own Marketing Consulting business.
A couple of years ago, I really got the desire and vision to create a women’s community organization for fellow Black Female Creatives and #Creativepreneurs to shine light on their work, services, provide resources and tools to better help them personally and professionally. In addition to developing fun and creative networking events and monthly meetups to have those creative conversations needed and build a real community for female creatives to utilize as a go-to for business and personal growth and to get & stay inspired to help keep those creative juices flowing. Which is primarily how The Creative Juices Group was formed and is continuing to grow daily.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a smooth road thus far, as beginning any business comes with it’s challenges. One main one for me in the beginning of developing The Creative Juices Group was simply beginning to run and bring on a 2nd business and the tasks that come with it. However, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
The company and brand is continuing to grow daily and we have a lot of great things in store for our creative community. Which means expanding my team and being able to take it to new levels. That for sure will require more from my end and any challenges or obstacles I am prepared to tackle along the way.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Yes! I have definitely learned important lessons during this crisis. I learned to really implement more self-care for myself because it’s so needed. Really taking time to slow down and focus on the now and finding new ways to get and stay creative.
