Hi Jil, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hi Voyage Dallas! I am a Dallas native who studied Fashion Design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and quickly began my fashion career by moving to New York City. There I designed and produced gowns for Marchesa, Zac Posen, Rubin Singer, and Randi Rahm specifically in bridal and couture. I soon after went off to manage the top Personal Stylist of Saks Fifth Avenue for three years.
I have always had a love for fashion, but when several of my friends started getting married, I noticed a great need in the bridal industry and how I could offer more than just fashion advice. So much thought and energy goes into planning the actual wedding day and the smaller events tend to be an after thought. I wanted to find a way to take the pressure off the bride so she can actually enjoy the process of picking out her engagement photo outfits and be fully present for the bridal shower. Once relocating to Dallas in the spring of 2021, I realized it was the perfect time to begin a new venture and The Fiancé Way was born!

We provide a comprehensive list of bridal services including styling consultations, personal shopping, closet cleanouts, charcuterie boards & tables, and florals for all events leading up to the wedding. We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
After relocating to Dallas, I created the concept for The Fiancé Way in April of 2021, and everything came together quite quickly. Within one month, all digital content was created, and the website and Instagram was launched, then we officially launched by June.
We are the first of our kind to specifically focus only on pre-wedding events. That is our greatest advantage because we do not currently have any competition, but that is also the disadvantage, that no one is aware that these services are accessible. Since launching the company, the primary focus has been advertisement, outreach, networking, and diving headfirst into the Dallas Bridal Industry. Our services perfectly complement wedding planners, other wedding professionals, and we look forward to assisting new bride.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The Fiancé Way offers three primary services: Personal Styling, Charcuterie Boards, and Florals for pre-wedding events.
Most brides find it quite overwhelming to constantly be shopping for outfits for their engagement party/photos, bridal showers, bridal brunches, bachelorette party, and honeymoon. We offer personal shopping, closet cleaning outs and styling consultations via digital look-books that offer live links to click and purchase personally selected items. This service is not only offered to the bride but is also extended to any family members, bridal parties, or wedding guests. The bride and bridal party typically love to coordinate outfits for the bachelorette trip, we are here to help! We can brainstorm outfit theme ideas, coordinate all the outfits, and create a custom look-book with live links for all the girls to click and purchase.
Beyond bridal fashion, we also focus on bridal events! We work directly with the host, venue, and bride to offer consultations where we brainstorm ideas, themes, decorations, florals, and charcuterie boards. We offer charcuterie boards with customizable ingredients ranging in sizes from a small personal board to large tables for parties up to 50 people. We also offer floral arrangements, centerpieces, and bouquets. Our services are created to be customizable and tailor-made for each specific bride’s needs to help alleviate all the stress so the bride can focus on one thing, being celebrated!
