Hi Ana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Of course! Hola, my name is Ana; your favorite Latina Beauty Specialist. I have to start by saying, I truly believe we have all been gifted with a God-given talent, and I do not doubt in my mind that mine is to empower women through self-love & care! After doing hair, makeup & brows on family & friends, I was given the opportunity to work with a professional Makeup Artist for a few years. This work prepared me and helped me grow as an artist. The year 2020 was a Blessing in disguise for me, as it forced the world to shut down but inspired me to do what my heart was calling me to do. Create a safe & inviting space for women to come to and get catered. Ana Artistry Studio was born with the help of a loving husband and a family that has always supported my decisions. My vision was to create an inviting yet elegant space that screams femininity! Something far from your typical home studio. A place you look forward to coming to, because I genuinely believe that “People will always remember how you made them feel.” (-Maya Angelou)

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Life as an Entrepreneur has not at all been easy. I have had moments where I doubted myself and questioned if I really have what it takes to pursuit such a role and each and every time God has shown me how worthy I am. One of the biggest struggles I have had is the beloved ” Comparison Game.” Thinking everyone around me is “better’ or has had an easier journey in the industry. Trust me that can consume you and take away from the impact or Blessing you can be. Battling with adult acne while also preaching Healthy Skin was something that was eating away with the little self-esteem I had. Now I am a point where my acne is under control with the help of diet, quality skincare & professional skin treatments. Going through this myself and knowing how much it can rip one’s confidence into pieces; has pushed me, even more, to want to help others. I am eager to help others achieve Healthy Skin, not Perfect Skin. I want to help magnify the Beauty God has placed in each and every one of us through my art.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What I do you ask? What I give is more fulfilling to me. Through my work I am able to Simplify your Morning Routine, by helping you achieve Healthy Skin; giving you Bomb Brows & Lash Lifts! It all works to spotlight the Beauty that is already there. I simply help you see it & embrace it.

What I am most proud of is the connection I make with each and every one of guests. My goal is not only to provide a service but to provide an experience that will make you want to come back. I want you to sit back, relax and forget about work, home, kids, and that long to-do list you have typed up on your phone. I want you to remember that “Rest & Selfcare are so important. When you take time to replenish your spirit, it allows you to serve others from the overflow as you cannot serve from an empty vessel.”-Eleanor Brownn. As women, we naturally have it embedded in us to take care of everyone before ourselves. I’m here to remind that Selfcare is giving those around you the best version of you versus giving them only what’s left. If through my service I can help replenish your cup by boosting your self-confidence then I can happily say my purpose is fulfilled!

I truly find fulfillment in helping Women love themselves through self-care. I know that I’m not just giving you Healthy Skin, nice brows, and beautiful lashes. Through my services, I help you improve your emotional & physical health & with that increase your self-esteem among so many other benefits. I strive to make my space one that is inviting, where you can feel at peace. I’m always expanding my knowledge and learning ways to improve as a provider.
