Community Highlights: Meet Tremontez Rose of Mulasneakers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tremontez Rose.

Hi Tremontez, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I started in 2017, which also was the year I graduated high school. Being a curious teenager, I was looking for something to make a little extra money. At that time, I had a job that was paying me good money, but ever since I was little, I knew I was destined for great things. One day I was just scrolling through YouTube, and I came across on some videos about people making money off sneakers. It is called “sneaker reselling”. So, I started doing my own research on how I could get into the sneaker reselling business. Finally, after a ton of research, I found the right shoes that I could start off with. The pair of shoes were, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Begula 2.0, which were released on November 25, 2017. I was looking for any way possible to cop these shoes, which lead me to book a flight to Los Angeles, California to ensure that I got a pair. Unfortunately, I had to cancel to that trip for personal reasons, which we can go into more detail later. Luckily, my brother found out about a local DTLR Villa dropping the shoes and he told me about it. I was ecstatic that I could finally get my hands on a pair to start my reselling journey. We camped out for about 8 hours. I ended up copping two pairs and sold them for $375 dollars each and that was the beginning of my sneaker reselling journey.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road and for anyone starting a business it will never be. Life gets in the way, you might lose some money, sleep, time, and you will have to sacrifice everything to keep your business going. With all that being said as long as you don’t quit all the trials and tribulations you go through will be worth it.  A wise man once told me, “Life is like an obstacle course, you might have to jump through hoops, climb over trees and dodge things but in the end, all of those things won’t matter once you finally reach your destination.”

We’ve been impressed with Mulasneakers LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Mulasneakers is a retail business that sells sneakers, clothing, sneaker accessories, and online courses that teach people how to make money off sneakers.

We are mostly known for having the latest and greatest sneaker releases.

What sets us apart from other retail companies is we listen to all our customers and treat them like family “sneaker fam” is what we call them. The other difference is we are building a brand to not only supply you with sneakers but to help you make money with us through our consignment and sneaker resell course.

Honestly, the thing I’m most proud about is the love and support everybody shows to my brand because they can easily shop anywhere else, but they choose to shop and support us.

I want the readers to know that my brand Mulasneakers isn’t just a retail company we are a hub for everything dealing with buying and selling and learning how the retail industry works through our content, videos, courses, and books we want to educate the world on how to operate a successful business.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5 years, I see my industry moving more toward the NFT space and allowing all holders of the NFT to secure shoes that way. It just seems like an easier way to go because sneaker botting is making it harder for people to cop shoes.
