Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniella Menachemson.
Hi Daniella, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I began my working life in technology furniture and design was not part of the plan or trajectory. An opportunity to assist my father with building a website for a company he was starting presented itself. His market was furniture for event rental companies. I was hooked and decided to go in full time becoming his co-founder. Design seemed to be in my DNA and I soon expanded the products we were offering to custom designer furniture that suited the hospitality market. I decided to venture out from the family business and go out on my own and opened an office in the United States
the place we landed on to relocate my family was Dallas Texas. Very different to Sydney Australia in 2019 Dallas became home and the headquarters for StyleNations.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It was a huge jump off the cliff moment relocating from Australia to Dallas. We moved with our suitcases and dog as chance would have it covid broke out 4 months after we arrived. So, I found myself new to the US living in lockdown and in the hospitality business which was shut down.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about StyleNations?
StyleNations is a female-led and run furniture company that specializes in manufacturing designer and custom furniture for the hospitality industry. the founder having over 15 years of experience in the niche has traveled the world finding furniture makers who create pieces that are unique to the area. StyleNations works with interior designers and hotel brands supplying all FF&E items our passion is boutique hotels we love being creative and coloring outside the lines and working in this space gives us the opportunity to do so. Making your hospitality space unique with our furniture creations is the goal. Our core values are important to us we believe in lifting each other up with integrity and kindness going above and beyond for our clients and ultimately doing things differently.
What’s next?
We believe in web 3.0 and all the things the Metaverse will bring to furniture design interior design and hospitality. I’m passionate about breaking down borders and letting you decision-makers be part of the conversation web 3.0 is where that will happen. Seeing a platform that allows a guest, architect, furniture maker and brand all collaborate on ideal user outcomes instantly is how we will prepare for the future of hospitality furniture
