Meet Isaiah Henderson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaiah Henderson.

Hi Isaiah, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I wanted to make money so I started selling jars of jelly. After the jelly ran out, The Kool-Aid Pickle business seemed to be more profitable. I started selling Kool-Aid Pickles to family, friends, and parks and participated in vendor events. We ventured out and added Kool-Aid Pineapples as well as Kool-Aid Pineapple Juice. Now I am earning money but also building a future.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Overall, it has been smooth. There was a time when pickles were hard to get because the stores were out of stock. My parents and I were sure to stock up the next time we could purchase.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I sell Koolaid Pickles and Pineapples. I believe my product is known for its authentic flavors. I am most proud that I am an 11-year-old with a business that has operated for 2 years thus far. I am set apart from others because of my original flavors and competitive pricing.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
I would like to give credit to my parents that helped me get started and took me to the places I needed to be. My Father creates the flavors and allows me to create my own. My Mother creates the graphics and schedules events. Together we are a great team. I wouldn’t want you to leave out all of those that have shared a post, told a friend, and of course made purchases.

  • $6 Kool-Aid Pineapples
  • $4 Kool-Aid Pickles
