Venisha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I began my Tax Professional career in 2017. After working for The City of Dallas for almost 4 years as a Code Enforcement Officer, I decided to resign in December 2019 and focus on pursuing my education in the Tax Industry.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, I can honestly say it has been a pretty smooth road for me. But of course, like all businesses it has its high’s and low’s . As an upcoming and growing business, I struggled with working numerous of hours a day, sometimes, I would be running off of 3 to 4 hours of sleep for the day.
