Today we’d like to introduce you to Rae Marie.
Hi Rae, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
So, a couple years ago I met a local photographer and we just started shouting pictures every week and I posted the ones I liked them we began planning out the themes and ideas around the shoots and it just kinda took off. Local brand owners wanted me to model their clothes and I was there for it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely hasn’t been the smoothest path. I still get stuck and challenged sometimes it’s hard for me to even get in front of the camera now. I’m a very spiritual person so when my spirit isn’t right, I don’t feel like being in front of the camera. My weight and mood play a role in my struggles for sure.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Rae’s modeling and events?
I started Rae’s Modeling as more of an even planning party pop-up type thing but I’ve slowly transformed it into more of a model management and couching agency. I think what sets me apart from most is I’m learning while I’m doing and I’m only 22 years old tryna make a name for myself.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love my city because it’s small and very familiar but that’s the same reason I dislike it. Here everyone knows everyone very small-town vibe. Although one thing about Oklahoma City is the talent we have here and the focus and effort that the people here put into their business or brands it’s truly amazing.
