Today we’d like to introduce you to Alan Paoletti.
Alan, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’m one of the few people who would say that the 2008 crash actually helped me.
I was working at a job I hated and after the crash, I lost that job and I kept trying to find a new one, of course had no luck with anything, no one was hiring. I got desperate for work, and money, and I decided that I was wasting my time trying to find another job I would hate, instead why not put my efforts into something that I loved and cared about, and that I knew when I put effort in, I would get something equal out of it.
Best thing that ever happened to me.
Since then I’ve been working to help corporations connect with their clients, potential clients, employees and the community in a fun, positive and meaningful way. I’m focused on solutions that help people reach their objectives, magic just happens to be the tool I use to do that.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Oh heck no. It’s been a lot of ups and downs, I went from having part of an idea of going into business for myself, with not much experience (or capital for that matter) in that realm, I was an artist! I didn’t know a thing about business. That’s changed a lot. I think that the biggest challenge for me was realizing that I had a mountain to climb in terms of educating myself to become a better business person.
One of my biggest challenges to this day is getting the word out about the programs and solutions designed to help the people and companies who really need them.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about APMagic – what should we know?
I’m a solution to a problem that just about every company has and they’re not sure what to do about it.
How do you communicate, as a company to your employees for instance, how much you appreciate their hard work, commitment to the vision, and recognize the personal sacrifices that they’ve made to lift everyone up and into the future?
I specialize in creating a bridge between the heart and the head, my clients usually want or need to communicate something to one of their clients, potential clients (customers) or their employees and they don’t know how to do it. That’s my job.

I’ve got to thank my Wife, she’s been amazingly supportive of me while I built my business from scratch, I work weird hours and I’m gone a lot, she has been my rock and my cheerleader no matter how difficult things get.
Her unwavering faith is a source of strength and it helps me when I’ve got more on plate than I can handle.
