Hi Kimberly, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We opened the doors to Ellie Mental Health in Plano Dec. 8th, 2023. We are a Franchise clinic for Ellie Mental Health.
All Ellie offices are designed by the Clinic Director.
Every Ellie Office looks different and provides different services.
Ellie Corporate has worked hard to ensure that all of the most important factors involved in mental healthcare are held to the highest standards. (Hipaa compliance, Documentation, Ongoing CEUs, and Governing Board Policy Training).
Creating a welcoming, compassionate, and creative atmosphere for our clients is paramount for our therapists.
Providing the most up-to-date and innovative evidence-based treatment strategies makes us stand out. We are an outpatient haven for those in need of ongoing therapeutic support.
We serve humans over the age of 8 and will work with parents and families who have children younger than 8.
We accept Medicare and work with humans up to the age of 78.
We provide group support and are adding groups to our menu frequently and with a focus on what we see as ever-changing needs.
We offer in-person and virtual care.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has definitely not been smooth. We have experienced the same frustrations that anyone who seeks insurance credentialing goes through. We have experienced multiple delays in getting established and have to pull together as a team to build this clinic into a thriving practice. We are fortunate to have an incredible group of providers who are all so very skilled and purposeful in their career goals.

Tom Hazelton is our Fearless Leader who has been a Plano resident for 50 years. He and his wife Linda bought into the Franchise with a specific goal to give back to Plano and its residents in a meaningful way.
Kimberly Kline, LPC-S is our Clinic Director, who has been in private practice for over 25 years. She is driven to create a clinic that is a leader in creative and effective treatment strategies. She had a background in Biofeedback and Adoption services prior to her LPC career. We have 6 Clinicians other than Kimberly.
We have a special team, all of whom have personal experiences with Autism and unique personal views on being a support for individuals and families in this area. We offer a unique approach to brain training to assist in mood and focus. We offer specialized therapy for the LGBTQIA+ Community, Caregiver and Public Service Worker Support, and the typical Marriage, Family, Individual, and group support.
We are very proud of our team’s ability to pull together and respect each other’s strengths, efforts, and vision for this clinic. I think that allowing us all to create and guide the mission and services we offer here at Ellie in Plano is the most unique and powerful experience in this endeavor to be a mental health Haven.
What are your plans for the future?
What is great is that we have no waitlist right now. That means a lot in this current mental health atmosphere.
We are emphasizing our Group and individual support for the LGBTQIA+ Community, Caregiver, and Public Service Workers.
We also are excited about our unique approach to brain training to assist in mood and focus.
We especially are looking forward to having full caseloads for all our therapists at the Plano Pkwy office and opening another office in the summer.
