Rod Stewart: A Living British-Rock Legend

No one does rock music at 78 years old like Rod Stewart. His distinctively raspy, yet heartwarming vocals are unmatched and have caused quite the extensive fanbase for many decades. His highly-anticipated (rescheduled) performance at the Climate Pledge Arena last weekend was one for the books, with cult-classics such as “Maggie May” and “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?” bringing attendees on their feet to dance. He was joined on stage by an incredible group of back-up vocalists, powerful dancers, a full band and even a dazzling duo of fiddle players. Multiple costume changes throughout the evening made the show even more memorable.

Rod’s catalog of certified hits have withstood the test of time. He is the second oldest to perform at this venue, followed only by Paul Mccartney, but his fancy footwork and suave dance moves prove he’s still got it – even more so now, in 2023!

In the wake of this spectacular show, it’s evident that Rod’s impact on the music industry as a whole remains stronger than ever. His ability to engage the audience, deliver a smiling performance and command the attention of an entire arena solidifies his status as a living British-Rock legend. The memories captured this evening will be cherished for years to come.
