Has it been a smooth road?
Nothing has been easy except realizing that life is not easy. My mother was my role model. Her faith in God and dedication to the “cause” has been embedded in my being. Life was not easy for our family growing up in Longview, TX. Our struggle was real but my mother always believed that God would provide and He did. I definitely had many challenges as an African – American female. I was married at an early age and did not have the standard route to complete my college education. I sometimes laugh because it took me 5 years to get a 2 year Associate’s degree in Nursing and then 10 years to get my Bachelor’s degree. My comment is that life happens.

After starting Bracane, we had a fast start in 2002 – 2009. Then, in 2010 the bottom fell out and we were challenged like never before. However, with a strong faith and prayer and a team of advisers, we expanded our offerings and included human services and outcomes research and the business began to grow. We have had other challenges over the years and each crisis has seemingly been larger than the previous one and causes us to rely more on our faith in God. We have been in business now for 16 years and although we are still a small business we believe that God has a plan for the business and we are looking forward to continued growth and expansion.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Bracane, Inc. – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
