Today we’d like to introduce you to Rob & Haley Wall.
Hi Rob & Haley, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
We are Rob and Haley Wall, the husband-and-wife duo behind WALL EATS! We met in 2015 while attending our graduate school program orientation in Mesa, Arizona (Rob for physical therapy and Haley for occupational therapy). We dated through graduate school and enjoyed our time together studying at coffee shops, finding food at local farmer’s markets, and dining at new restaurants (we have been big foodies since the beginning!). As healthcare professionals, we have always been mindful about what we eat, but also believe in living a balanced lifestyle!
We moved to Dallas in 2022 and 1 year later WALL EATS was created! WALL EATS was inspired by the Texas culture, Rob’s passion for developing delicious recipes (he is self-taught!), Haley’s enthusiasm for finding cleaner food products and our desire as a couple to feel our best! Our main goal of WALL EATS is to provide homemade recipes with cleaner food ingredients, resources on cleaner products, and local restaurant recommendations.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We are both currently working as physical and occupational therapists and creating, cooking and filming recipes outside our work in healthcare has presented some obstacles. Rob has always created delicious food, but showcasing it through photos and videos has taken some practice! We do not have any formal background in film, photography, cooking, or business, but we have learned along the way to get WALL EATS where it is today!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We use social media videos to highlight our recipes and specialize in showcasing cleaner food brands in a theatrical manner. Our recipes are written so that you can use any ingredient/brand you would like, but we add our product sources on each recipe page that we HIGHLY recommend. We are most proud of working and learning together as a husband-and-wife team while figuring out how to grow a brand from the ground up.
What does success mean to you?
We define success as something that provides fulfillment, passion, and value. Success should involve continuous learning, cultivating meaningful relationships with the community, and having a positive impact on others.
