Hey there! I’m Kendra, originally from South Florida, but I have proudly called the vibrant city of Dallas home for the past two years. By day, I’m knee-deep in the world of tech sales, but when the sun sets, I dive headfirst into the realm of content creation, specializing in fashion, beauty, health, and wellness.
My journey as a content creator began during the pandemic when, like many others, I sought solace and creativity in uncertain times. Armed with nothing but my trusty Canon G7x camera, I wandered the streets of Miami, capturing moments and sharing beauty and weight loss tips on TikTok, just for fun. Little did I know that these casual videos would open doors to incredible opportunities with top-tier brands like Good Modules, Pat McGrath Labs, Walgreens, and Viktor & Rolf fragrances. I also collaborated with local businesses, such as Pressed Roots, here in Dallas.
Today, my passion for content creation burns brighter than ever. I’m on a mission to evolve further, collaborating with local talents, businesses, and brands right here in Dallas and all around the world.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When I stepped into the realm of content creation, I was in a dark season in my life, grappling with uncertainty about my career path. I was yearning for a shift from the financial services industry to a new career path where I could not only showcase my skills but also feel full about the impact of my job and have the work-life balance that didn’t exist in my life.
The road ahead was fraught with obstacles as I searched for clarity amidst the chaos. Yet, anchored by my unwavering faith, a glimmer of hope emerged on my 26th birthday. Volunteering at my home church in Miami, I encountered a friend while feeding the homeless whose impact would prove to be transformative. My friend relocated to New York shortly after meeting her for a new career opportunity. Despite the turmoil within, I took a leap of faith to visit her in New York, where I was embraced by a network of people who encouraged me to pivot into the tech industry.
This newfound path was not easy. It demanded sacrifice and intense dedication as I immersed myself in rigorous training, momentarily setting aside my beloved craft of content creation and disconnecting from the world for six months. But fueled by resilience and determination, I emerged from the shadows, securing a tech sales role in tech at a Big Tech company. Within a mere two months, I found myself transplanted to the vibrant city of Dallas.
This seismic transition reshaped the very fabric of my existence, reigniting my passion for content creation in a fresh, invigorating setting. Though the journey still feels surreal, it stands as a testament to the indomitable power of faith, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of one’s dreams.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m recognized for my vibrant personality and passion for fashion, health, wellness, and beauty, which I love sharing on social media platforms. One of my proudest achievements is relocating to Dallas, where I initially knew few people, and actively expanding my network since then.
My goal is to make a positive impact in the community by collaborating with local nonprofits and businesses. Through content creation, I aim to highlight the talent and mission of the incredible local brands and businesses here in Dallas, showcasing their unique contributions to the community.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I appreciate most about Dallas is its Southern hospitality and the warmth of its people. Coming from Miami, where networking and finding a community can be challenging, I find it refreshing to connect with like-minded individuals here in Dallas who share similar interests, whether it’s in the realms of tech, content creation, or fitness and wellness.
However, if there’s one thing I could do without in Dallas, it’s the traffic and the somewhat questionable driving skills of some locals. I’ve witnessed a fair share of road incidents where frustrated drivers have resorted to confrontations, and sometimes, the millennial in me can’t help but internally shout “WorldStar”!!!
