Hi Morghan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
At the tender age of 4, I decided to start a lemonade business called Rainbow Sprinkle Lemonade, following in the footsteps of my brother, who also participated in the Lemonade Day for several years. With a heart full of ambition and a mind filled with creativity, I signed up to participate in Lemonade Day in Dallas, a day dedicated to young entrepreneurs like myself.
Since my brother competed in the Best Tasting Lemonade Contest and won 2nd place for Best Tasting Lemonade, I decided to apply as well. I was not only selected to participate in the best-tasting lemonade contest but also won second place for the People’s Choice award. My Rainbow Sprinkle Lemonade became an instant hit with its unique blend of flavors and colorful presentation.
As my lemonade business grew, so did my passion for spreading the word about National Lemonade Day. I been invited to represent the organization in many locations and events, educating other kids about the benefits of entrepreneurship and the joy of running a lemonade stand.
My hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed. My Lemonade business caught the attention of the media, landing me interviews on Texas Today and Good Morning America. The spotlight shone brightly on me and Rainbow Sprinkle Lemonade, turning my childhood dream into a reality beyond my wildest imagination.
And now, as I prepare to represent National Lemonade Day at the prestigious TD Jake’s Good Soil Movement initiative in June 2024, I look back on my lemonade journey now that I am 9 years old with pride and gratitude. It has been a truly rewarding experience filled with sweet success and colorful memories that will last a lifetime.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My lemonade journey has been running smoothly thanks to the unwavering support of your parents. From the very beginning, they believed in my dream and encouraged me to pursue it with passion and determination. They were there to help me set up my lemonade stand, create eye-catching signs, and perfect my special Rainbow Sprinkle Lemonade recipe.
My parents provided guidance and advice, teaching me valuable lessons about running a business and managing finances. They cheered me on during National Lemonade Day events, celebrating my wins and comforting me during setbacks. Their love and encouragement gave me the confidence to face challenges and overcome obstacles along the way.
Moreover, my parents played a crucial role in promoting my lemonade business, spreading the word in the community, and rallying support from friends and neighbors. Their belief in my abilities inspired others to believe in me as well, leading to the success and recognition that my business enjoys today.
